I tried this pull-cord chopper for eggs and veggies. The cord mechanism works similarly to a lawnmower pull start—it's novel but requires a firm yank. The 2-cup size is adequate for small jobs. The stainless steel blade is sharp, but the plastic housing feels light. For $75, the price is steep for what it is; you could get a similar manual chopper for less. It works fine, but not a great value. Hand washing is a bit of a hassle.
